These changes obviously result in a <b>strong reduction of appetite<\/b> and a satiety that comes early (i.e., after a few bites): the amount of food taken is thus greatly reduced resulting in weight loss. <br><br>  Following sleeve gastrectomy there is, in the first few years, considerable weight loss (about 60 percent or more of overweight) and without excessive effort.
